An established professional outdoor photographer from Salt Lake City, Utah, Jason Christensen specializes in Nature & Landscape Photography. He is a published Artist with images distributed in a variety of venues and formats.
Originally a trained illustrator working in all mediums, Jason ultimately developed a passion for scenic photography. He began shooting 35mm format in 1995, but realizing the powerful artistic advantages of capturing larger images, he made the move up to a large format (4x5) film camera.
As demonstrated by the subject and quality of his work, Jason has profound admiration and respect for nature and our environment. At every photo location, he seeks to capture a unique, perfect image in time wherein viewers can feel like they are actually experiencing the emotion of the moment.
Jason prefers the beauty of natural light in his photographs, using no digital enhancements to create an artificial effect.
