An established professional outdoor photographer from Salt Lake City, Utah, Jason Christensen has been capturing award-winning photographs for nearly 20 years specializing in nature & landscape photography. His work is published domestically as well as internationally with images displayed in a variety of venues and formats, including various art galleries and numerous private collections.  Originally a trained illustrator working in all mediums, Jason ultimately developed a passion for fine-art scenic photography in 1995, and he has stuck true to the art by choosing to use a large format film camera as his choice of capturing nature’s subtle light. In 2009, Jasons unique view of our natural world through the lens of a 4x5 gave him the honor of having his work published in View Camera Magazine.

As demonstrated by the subject and quality of his work, Jason has profound admiration and respect for nature and our environment. At every photo location, he seeks to capture a unique image in time wherein viewers can feel like they are experiencing the emotion of the moment. Jason prefers the beauty of natural light in his photographs, using no digital enhancements to create an artificial effect.
